Wendy Gell describes herself as an artist who paints with jewels. Her pieces sparkle with color and creativity. She is best known for her "wristies" cuff bracelets, and her signature style of incorporating bits of pop culture with playful icons of retro-Americana. In 1985 she became a licensee for the Walt Disney Company, producing highly collected Disney Character jewelry and art.

Each Wendy Gell piece is completely handmade and one-of-a-kind. Wendy's pieces are composed of both new and vintage materials, including jewels and rhinestones, brightly colored Swarovski Austrian crystals, small antique toys and objects, and other vintage finds.
